To many consumers surprise, several counties within the U.S. will have an increase in their FHA loan limits next year due to the release of maximum mortgage limits for 2016 from the Federal Housing Administration. No counties will have decreasing loan limits and home price changes are bringing many limitations as well. In the article shown above it mentions a few counties and their higher loan limits. The loan limits are calculated annually by using a worth of 115% in the median home price in each area. The updated loan limits will kick in January 1st.
